This bulky yarn is both single ply and superwash! Mecha has a slight thick-and-thin texture, a fantastic loft, and is the perfect size for quick but not-too-heavy projects.

With Mecha, as with all of Malabrigo's yarns, the colors will vary between all skeins to some degree. If you are knitting with multiple skeins, we suggest alternating skeins for even color distribution.

When we dye our yarns, the same formula is used each time but every batch of yarn is assigned a different dye lot number. The differences from one dye lot to another can be very subtle, or extremely noticeable, specially on variegated yarns.
