Cascade Aran Splatter

Cascade 220 Superwash Aran Splatter is an amazingly fun and soft yarn from Cascade. It is in between a worsted weight and a chunky weight. It knits up into a cozy and soft project.

One of our favorite things about this yarn is the wonderful speckling that they aptly call "Splatters". Why chose a splatter? First, the splatter gives the yarn an extra wow factor, on top of being one of the softest and squishiest yarns. Secondly, speckled or splattered yarns tend not to pool or end up all in one place. You get more of a tonal effect than a variegated yarn, and you get to add pizzazz to simple projects or stitches.

Another great feature of this yarn, is that it is super wash. That's right, you can toss any project made with this yarn in the washer on cold, and even in the dryer (even though we prefer to lay all our handmade items flat to dry).

Because of the fun colors and the washability of this yarn, it makes ideal afghans, baby blankets, wraps, sweaters, hats or gloves. This is a really versatile yarn that can be used in any type of project. From knitting to crocheting, to weaving we know that Cascade 220 Superwash Aran Splatter will work exceptionally well in any project calling for an aran weight yarn.
