Beginning Knitting Class (3/2025)

Beginning knitting is designed for anyone who wants to learn the basics of knitting.  You will learn the basic knit and purl stitch. The project you will make is a simple scarf and learn the basic stitches you will need for future knitting projects. The scarf is designed to have knit and purl work, yarn over stitches, increase and decrease stitches.

The recommended yarn and needles are available for purchase here at the shop.

Class Details:

• Class will be held on Wednesday afternoons, March 19, March 26, April 2, and April 9, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Liz will be your instructor for this class 
• No knitting experience is required.
• No refund for missed classes but we do makeups and extra time if needed.
• We guarantee fun, laughing, and individual attention!
• Classes are weekly and you get 4 sessions, 2 hours each session.

Supplies you will need:

• Cascade 220 superwash Merino yarn is recommended  
• Knitting Needles US 10 single pointed
