For beginning knitting, you don't need to know anything about knitting. We teach you how to cast on stitches, knit, purl, increase, and decrease stitches.
You learn these stiches and techniques by knitting a scarf for yourself or a friend. We provide needles and acrylic yarn for free. However, we recommend you purchase Cascade 220 superwash merino to make your scarf. The Cascade 220 is merino wool and makes a beautiful product.
Dates: Tuesdays November 4, 11, 18, and 25
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm

Particulars
- You learn how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, increase, and decrease Stitches.
- You go home with a knitted scarf for yourself or a friend.
- You are provided one pair of size 9 knitting needles and one skein of acrylic yarn.
- You will be in a group of 5 beginners. Make friends and support each other!
- Your instructor is an excellent knitter and knows how to correct mistakes.
