Bear Creek Farms Roving targhee/bamboo/silk

Treat yourself to a luxury blend! This top is a commercially combed Targhee, bamboo, and silk. This fiber composition makes a luxurious sock yarn, is easy to spin, and is wonderfully soft.

Each fiber in the blend takes dye slightly differently, so this blend makes a fun addition to any dye day.

Targhee sheep are originally from Idaho and are the descendents of Rambouillet, Corriedale, and Lincoln sheep. Targhee wool is elastic yet resilient and is often described as being as soft as merino. On it's own, this wool isn't very lustrous, but with the addition of bamboo and silk this blend has a nice shine.
